The barbell is 5/16" (8mm) long and is available in 18 gauge or 16 gauge. 316LVM Surgical Grade Stainless Steel Barbell has two 1/8" (3mm) diameter, externally threaded end balls. The shield is made high quality polished brass with a nickel free and hypo allergic plating and is about 5/8" long X 5/16" wide. This item is suitable for cartilage piercings.
