This shield can be worn on the right ear, but the longer point would be toward the front instead of the back. This helix jewelry is designed to wrap around the upper ear with a slight contour to fit around the natural curves of the ear. These are sold individually, not in pairs. This piece comes with two separate pieces, the barbell and the shield. Shield part is now returnable for exchange or a refund of $9.99 if it does not fit. We cannot take back the barbell if the sealed bag is opened. High quality polished brass with nickel free and hypo allergic plating. The smaller 3/4” long shield comes with a 5/16" (8mm) long barbell and the larger 1” shield comes with a 3/8” (10mm) barbell. Straight barbell is available in 18 gauge or 16 gauge 316L Surgical Grade Stainless Steel Barbell and 22 gauge or 20 gauge nickel-free 14K solid white gold for an additional $44.99.
