Length of stem from bottom of stone to end of shaft is about 3/8" (10mm) long. You bend these to fit. Gauge is the thickness of the post. Gauges available: 22 gauge-thinnest gauge, thickness of a regular earring 20 gauge-slightly thicker than 22 gauge 18 gauge-thicker than 20 gauge.
