We realized in the past couple of years that most people buy the standard size belly button ring, 7/16" length, and it does not
fit them properly. Or they are still wearing the belly button ring
or barbell that they were pierced with and don´t realize that they
are pierced with a longer barbell to help make cleaning easier for
the new piercing. Once the piercing is fully healed, and your Piercing
Professional recommends it, a different size may be more comfortable
and more attractive.
Problems with the fit of some Belly Button Rings:
The stem sticks out of the top of the belly button piercing, poking
them when they sit down
The belly button ring hangs way below the piercing and feels as
though it is stretching the piercing
The belly button ring moves up and down and feels loose
We find that many people need a stem that is shorter or longer
than the standard 7/16" length, depending on how shallow, or deep,
their piercing is. Please note that we do not recommend changing
your belly button ring after the initial piercing, until it is ok´d
by your piercing professional.
