BodySparkle´s Custom Fit Body Jewelry Collection

Over the last few years, belly button piercings are being done more shallow than they used to be, so many people are looking for short bar belly button rings. Piercers usually pierce belly button rings with a 14 gauge, 1/2 inch (12mm) long belly button rings. They use this length to accommodate for the swelling that some people experience after the intial piercing is done, and to make cleaning the piercing easier. If the barbell is too short, it can smother the new piercing and cause problems while healing. Later, after the piercing is completely healed, some people may prefer to switch to a shorter length bar belly button ring for comfort. Consult with your piercing professional for their recommendation on when to switch your initial belly button ring and what length would be good for you.

On the other hand, some piercings are done more deeply and require a longer length barbell, such as 7/16 inch (11mm), 1/2 inch (12mm) or even 9/16 inch (14mm). BodySparkle specializes in short bar and long bar belly button rings.

Problems with the fit of some Belly Button Rings:
The stem sticks out of the top of the belly button piercing, poking you when you sit down
The belly button ring hangs way below the piercing and feels as though it is stretching the piercing
The belly button ring moves up and down and feels loose
The barbell is too short and causes irritation of the belly button piercing

We find that many people need a barbell length that is shorter or longer than the standard 3/8" length (10mm), depending on how shallow, or deep, their piercing is. Please note that we do not recommend changing your belly button ring after the initial piercing, until it is ok´d by your piercing professional.

We have put together a collection of jewelry that will give most belly button piercings, tongue piercings and nipple piercings, the most comfortable and attractive fit possible. We are proud to present the Body Sparkle Custom Fit Line of Body Jewelry. This collection includes short bar belly button rings, long bar belly button rings, cartilage earrings, tongue rings and nipple rings that are available in many sizes that will fit most piercings.
